Elder Law
“Elder law, what’s that?” That is the most common question we receive when we tell people what we do. As the average age of our population increases, more and more people are being confronted with issues unique to aging or caring for elderly parents. We assist clients in a wide range of elder-specific issues, such as guardianships for Alzheimer’s patients, durable powers of attorney with health care instructions, Medicaid planning for long-term health care, estate planning to protect assets, special needs trusts to care for disabled individuals, probate litigation and estate administration.
